Dear Neenah Wrestling Community,

This email serves as a "SAVE THE DATE" for a new opportunity coming this SPRING to Neenah High School on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We are excited to announce that Luc Valdez will using his background in Freestyle and Greco to help our Neenah Rockets and local wrestlers develop their overall wrestling skills through Freestyle and Greco training/competition.

Here is a message from our Lead Freestyle/Greco Coach Luc Valdez regarding the Rocket Olympic Wrestling Academy coming this SPRING.

To introduce myself, I am Luc Valdez a UW Oshkosh Graduate (2023) and I am the Freestyle and Greco coordinator for the Rocket Olympic-Style Wrestling Academy (ROWA). I am starting the club this SPRING! Freestyle and Greco are the international styles of wrestling that are on the Olympic and World stage and can significantly contribute to Folkstyle wrestling success.

We will start having practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the week of March 17th to May 9th from 6pm to 8pm at Neenah High School. There will be NO PRACTICE THE WEEK OF SPRING BREAK (March 31st-April 4th).

*Potential for more training throughout May pending overall level of interest.

The ROWA will train Greco every Tuesday and Freestyle every Thursday. The club registration (to be released in February) will be $100 to enroll in both Tuesday (Greco) and Thursday (Freestyle) or $75 for one night per week/style.

The ROWA Club is for wrestlers in 5th grade to 12th grade. *Exceptions considered based on wrestling experience/credentials for 3rd/4th graders

As of right now, we are planning on attending a few Wisconsin tournaments during the month of April once they are posted and finalized and also the WWF Beginners State Freestyle/Greco Tournament and the WWF State Freestyle/Greco Tournament.
